Challenge, challenge, challenge!

Work can sometimes be too overwhelming, especially when you want to do so many things, but you do not have the time for it. I've been already, I don't know for how long, trying to do more comic work, several projects started, learn to write better, several projects started, go back to analogue painting, there I do have some progress, but nothing that I can share yet.

Thing is, I'm doing a small - not so small actually - challenge. The second this year, the first is this series of blog entries, to force me to write more and be more intentional with what I write. This second, is a drawing a day - or as close as possible - where I develop a mini-story along with the drawing in question. In writing, my biggest problem is the length that reaches everything and then the little focus in the text, when doing mini historias, I trying to fight against that. The unwritten rules (until now (?)) And that it is quite possible that I skip with some than other drawing, are to try to be "original" with the mini stories and use the cliches in my favor to give more strength to the 10 or 12 words accompanying the drawings. So far they have been only in ink, but I do not plan to do them all like this, nor is it planned to change in the near future. I am sharing them in all my social networks, but mainly I am interested in exploiting Instagram. 6 drawings per theme for now.

I will not put a name + month or whatever people do these days (?) Because I am not interested in people joining this ride, if you want to do it, I also have nothing against it, obviously, in fact I will leave A list with the topics that I will try to follow if it is so. If you want me to take a look, you can tag me or use # 6illustratedtales in your post. I'll check it out with pleasure.

The first one.

"Two dancers in the sky, ready to fight, ready to win."

With this one started to draw same subject, girl and dragon. And then, the story attached to it from here.

"I lived my life fully, had a family, saw my children grow old, some, die. But I was ready for my endless sleep.
Now I pray every night for one more day..."

"All those centuries studying the true power... I finally met you, my destiny, my soul."

"Since I knew my destiny was to die saving my companion, I became bitter and full of hate toward their specie. But now that I finally found her, I know I can't escape from that fate... I'm glad for it."

"People from the village think she’s bad, call her dark witch for what hapenned with her parents. She doesn’t need them anymore. Her new family will take care of her, forever."

"Master commanded me that no one is allowed to enter this passage, no matter how strong it may be, no matter how weak. If it tries to pass, it will die. "

"She's not longer alone. Her friends from below come whenever she calls them."

"She always loved give them shape, jellyfishes were her favorites, small little souls floating around, full of the lives she just ended."

"You may have seen her lights before, right in the corner of your eye, but when you look there's nothing... So many people have sought her, the one who can cure any ill. "

"Billy never was an obedient hurricane, it'll go wherever he liked, but it was strong, the strongest she ever created, it will protect her from everyone outside"

  6. Space shamans
